Auditions

The Straz Center's fully professional, paid opera chorus, under the direction of Artistic and Managing Director and Chorus Master Robin Stamper, performs on the Straz Center's prestigious stages. We are looking for experienced male and female singers with a commitment to excellence.

Opera Tampa will hold auditions in Tampa for local singers. Tampa auditions, by appointment only, to be held in the Jaeb Theater at the Straz Center, 1010 North W.C MacInnes Place, Tampa, FL 33602.

Audition dates are June 15 and 17. All materials are due to Melissa Misener by June 8. To schedule an audition or for more information please contact Melissa Misener at Melissa.Misener@strazcenter.org.

Audition Requirements

Two memorized pieces of repertoire, one of which must be in Italian.
Sheet music must be secured in a binder or book.
Accompanist will be provided.
