Opera Tampa, the resident grand opera company of the Straz Center, is able to stage its glorious productions each year because individuals and companies support us philanthropically.
If every ticket in the house was sold, we would only cover about one third of our costs. Opera Tampa relies on annual gifts to:
• hire world-class artists and source exceptional sets and costumes,
• provide an introduction to opera to thousands through education and outreach programs, and
• bring cultural enrichment to our community.
Gifts of any amount are appreciated. With a gift of $100 or more, donors are recognized as part of the Opera Tampa League and receive benefits to enhance their theater experience.
