Music

The Patel Conservatory Music department offers classes, ensembles and private lessons in vocal and instrumental music for students age three through adult. Music classes offered at the Patel Conservatory include adult and children’s music, Suzuki violin, chamber strings and chamber winds, Vocal Arts Youth Choirs, jazz classes, beginning piano and music academics.

PROGRAMS

Vocal Arts Youth Choirs

The Patel Conservatory’s Vocal Arts Youth Choirs provide students of all ages the opportunity to sing in choirs and ensembles both large and small. Students perform exciting music while building musical artistry and lasting friendships.
Instrumental Ensembles

Performing ensembles of all levels are offered for various instruments, including Chamber Strings, Jazz Combos, Brass Ensembles and Chamber Winds. Most ensembles require an audition.
Certification Programs

The Certification Program is an intensive vocal training program geared toward students pursuing acceptance into collegiate voice programs or as a supplemental training program for students interested in beginning a professional career in voice.

Private Lessons

Private lessons provide a unique one-on-one experience for students to study with highly-trained teaching artists. Instrumental lessons are for age 3 and older and voice lessons are for age 10 and older.

Music Performance Opportunities

Patel Conservatory believes in the value of performance and provides culminating performance opportunities for every class, camp and intensive we offer. Over 32 in-house produced performances, productions, shows, recitals and concerts grace the stages of the Straz Center throughout the year.
